In 2014 I pitched to design a merchandise range for Charli XCX. I created the 'pop pop pop' font with the idea that it could be used to establish a brand framework for the artist. The bold design could be used on a variety of garments and products. I chose to display the design using 'bespoke garments' as opposed to the traditional 'merch items' because I felt that this captured the artist's flair and personal style. Unfortunately, the concept didn't capture the direction the artist was heading in and wasn't selected. The client was impressed with the design and we worked together on another brief.
